A parade and celebration event featuring the talents of LGBTQIA+ performers!

Peterborough Pride is an annual festival dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community in Peterborough, organised by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and the values of inclusion. Taking place on Saturday 20th August 2022 as a free event, Peterborough Pride provides a platform to not only raise awareness of our LGBTQIA+ community, but campaigns for a better city that recognises and celebrates difference.

Accessibility / Other Info

So that everyone can enjoy the Parade, the route is accessible by wheelchair. While the grounds at The Green Backyard are mostly flat, they may get slippery if it rains. There is a gravel entrance that leads onto the site. Portaloos, including a wheelchair accessible one, will be available for use during the event.

The nearest car parks are Pleasure Fair Meadows and Car Haven, with Peterborough Train Station being a 15 minute walk away from The Green Backyard. There is also limited disabled parking at the site! An information point will be on site.
